The Sarojin: breakfast later in the day, and an open bathroom

A quiet stay where the room layout deserves as much attention as the beach.

At The Sarojin, breakfast does not have to decide when the day starts. The hotel advertises an à-la-carte breakfast served until 6 pm, with sparkling wine. A guest described having brunch rather than rushing down early. For someone who wants a slow holiday, that changes the routine in a useful way.

Breakfast received praise from several visitors, alongside the staff, gardens, and pool. One couple enjoyed dinner at the beachfront restaurant on most evenings of their stay. The comments make food part of spending time at the hotel, rather than just something to fit in before leaving for the day.

The room arrangement was a less comfortable point for another guest. They described an open connection between the bedroom and bathroom, with too little privacy around the toilet for their taste. They also noticed small flies near the shower. The room category was not identified, so I cannot apply that layout to every residence.

I find the bathroom comment important for two people sharing a room. A space that looks attractive in photographs can still feel too open when someone wants privacy. It is a more useful distinction than assuming every couple will enjoy the same design because the hotel is aimed at romantic stays.

The hotel's age policy also deserves clarity. Although a guest called it an adult resort, the official website welcomes children aged ten and older. It should not be described as strictly adults only. A quiet visit without children present is not the same thing as a permanent rule excluding them.

The late breakfast is the strongest attraction for me here. It suits a day that starts slowly and stays mostly around the grounds and beach. The open-bathroom report is the practical counterpoint: the pace of the holiday may suit you very well while a particular room arrangement does not.

Sources and scope

This is a researched editorial review, not an account of a personal stay.

Five Agoda comments dated February–August 2026 were read through a locale listing. The bathroom/flies report is one July 2026 guest with no room category specified. Official breakfast-until-6-pm and minimum child age of ten were checked. Sparkling wine is the hotel's wording; a guest's champagne wording was not adopted.
