Tony Lodge: the nearby bar mattered more than the room

A Tony Lodge guest who woke early had a difficult stay because of music from the neighbouring bar. They described it carrying into the room late at night, with people also coming into the accommodation area to use the bar's toilet. Their complaint was specific to the night-time surroundings, not simply the appearance of the hotel.

Another guest liked the location near bars, restaurants, taxis, and a convenience store. They found the bed and pillows very hard, but still slept well enough. The same neighbourhood that was convenient for this visitor was a problem for someone whose day started early. That is the main difference in these accounts.

A separate, shorter comment described inconvenient parking and said the swimming pool was at the next hotel. I have not confirmed a current shared-pool arrangement, so that report should not be read as an included service today. It does make an on-site pool a poor assumption from the old listing alone.

For a traveller who comes back late after an evening out, having bars nearby may be convenient. For someone preparing for an early dive trip or wanting an early night, the older noise report is much more relevant. The guest described their own experience; it does not establish the volume or opening hours of the bar now.

Tony's useful story is therefore a limited one: a convenient Bang Niang location, firm bedding in one stay, and a neighbouring bar that seriously disturbed another guest.
