A Bhandari guest described a large room with a sitting area, then a large bathroom with a bathtub. To reach Nang Thong Beach, they crossed the road in front of the resort. That gives a useful picture of the stay: room space and gardens first, with the beach close by but outside the property.
The official room sizes help put the guest's impression in context. Thai Style Deluxe rooms are listed at 48 square metres, and Thai Style Bungalows at 50 square metres. The bungalow is not dramatically larger on paper. Its appeal is more about the type of accommodation and setting than a huge increase in floor space. I like having enough room to sit somewhere other than the bed. It matters on a slower holiday, or when you come back after a walk and want to spend a little time inside. Those published sizes make Bhandari interesting for that kind of stay. They do not tell us the exact furniture arrangement of every room, but they support the guest's description of generous space.
The hotel presents lotus ponds, palm trees, and paths through the gardens as part of its design. A recent guest enjoyed the Thai-style room and the calm atmosphere. The gardens are a large part of the appeal for me. It is a matter of taste, and the hotel's architectural style is a meaningful part of that choice.

Breakfast produced less agreement. One guest praised the changing menu, while a repeat visitor who had stayed four times thought it could be better. I find the second comment useful precisely because it comes with a generally positive view of the hotel. Someone can like a place enough to return and still have a reservation about one part of the stay.
The official website says the village is less than a ten-minute walk away. That is the hotel's estimate, and walking times vary. The attraction is having the option to leave the grounds for shops and food without making the resort feel like the only place to spend the day. For a traveller who likes some exercise, Bhandari also lists a fitness centre alongside its pool and spa. I have not tested the equipment, so I cannot call it a good gym for a particular workout. The room sizes, garden design, and short route to the beach are firmer reasons to consider the hotel. Together they suggest a stay with space to slow down and enough nearby life to step outside.
Sources and scope
This is a researched editorial review, not an account of a personal stay.
Five Agoda comments dated May 2024–July 2026 were read. Official Deluxe and Bungalow pages confirm 48 and 50 square metres respectively. The road crossing is a guest report; the village walking time is a hotel estimate. Gym equipment and accessibility were not independently tested.
